Danielle is one of our Veterinary Assistants! Danielle joined our team in the summer of 2020. Prior to joining our team, she attended Purdue University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science concentrating in Bioscience. Danielle currently lives on a hobby farm in Hoosier National Forest, near Norman, Indiana with her boyfriend Ryan and their young daughter. Along with 60 plus chickens and an ever-growing number of livestock her family includes three dogs: a senior Border Collie named Heidi, a tri-pawed Border Collie named Kaia, a LGD named Two-Socks; two cats: Penny and Kitten (who is no longer a kitten); and two horses: Sapphire, a grade QH mare, and Arabelle, a registered QH mare. When Danielle isn’t busy taking care of patients at our hospital or busy taking care of her hobby farm, she enjoys backpacking, hiking, gardening, spending time with her animals, crafting (painting, drawing, cake decorating), antiquing, and flea market shopping! Outside of being around animals all day, Danielle loves the science behind what we do and see in this field; her favorite thing about veterinary medicine and our hospital is that there is always something to learn and each day is unique in what it brings.
