Chika is one of our Veterinary Assistants! Chika graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in biology! She is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA from CCPDT)! Chika’s favorite part of working at our hospital is helping our patients improve and maintain their dental health by performing dental cleanings and helping to promote the importance of oral health. Chika has quite the crew of animals- Ellie, a cat that likes to supervise all bathroom activity and loves dental health like her mom; Glitch, an energetic cat who enjoys lounging and wrestling with his friends; Rikki, a Golden, who competes in dock diving with a PR of 21’3”; Maverick, a GSD rescue that likes to do everything his big brother Rikki does and lives by the motto “Toys are Life;” and lots of chickens! When Chika isn’t caring for patients at our hospital, she enjoys dog training, hiking, kayaking with her dogs, and watching movies and Netflix with her cats.
