Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For new clients and clients with new patients we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow for the proper paperwork to be completed and entered into our computer system. You can find new client and patient forms in our documents and forms tab.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier. Occasionally the doctor will offer drop-off appointments. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet and leave them with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis, treatment plans, and/or discharge instructions.

Surgery/procedure patient check-in time is between 8:00am-8:30am. Please allow time for us to go over a consent form and a few questions with you. Also, remember to make sure your pet is fasted (no food after 9pm the night before, water is okay through the night, but please remove it first thing in the morning). Your veterinarian may give you different instructions depending on the procedure being performed.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, cash and personal checks.
